नाशुचिर्धारयेदक्षं सदा कालेषु धारयेत् ॥ इत्थं त्रिसंध्यमथवा द्विसंध्यं सकृदेव वा ॥ ३८ ॥

Anyone who is unclean should not wear the axle, but should always wear it at the appropriate times. This is done for three or two evenings or once.

nAzucirdhArayedakSaM sadA kAleSu dhArayet ॥ itthaM trisaMdhyamathavA dvisaMdhyaM sakRdeva vA ॥ 38 ॥
