Shiva Purana
ततश्शिवानले होमं कुर्याद्देशिकसत्तमः ॥ प्रधानकुण्डे परितो जुहुयुश्चापरे द्विजाः ॥ २२ ॥
The excellent preceptor shall perform the sacrifice in the sacred fire in the main pit. The other brahmins shall perform the sacrifice all round in the other pits.
english translation
tatazzivAnale homaM kuryAddezikasattamaH ॥ pradhAnakuNDe parito juhuyuzcApare dvijAH ॥ 22 ॥
