सौवर्णं राजतं वापि ताम्रजं मृन्मयं तु वा ॥ गन्धपुष्पाक्षताकीर्णं कुशदूर्वांकुराचितम् ॥ ११ ॥
They may be made of gold, silver, copper or clay. It was strewn with fragrant flowers and unbroken grains and was decorated with kuśa and durva sprouts.

sauvarNaM rAjataM vApi tAmrajaM mRnmayaM tu vA ॥ gandhapuSpAkSatAkIrNaM kuzadUrvAMkurAcitam ॥ 11 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसितसूत्रावृतं कंठे नववस्त्रयुगावृतम् ॥ शुद्धाम्बुपूर्णमुत्कूर्चं सद्रव्यं सपिधानकम् ॥ १२ ॥
He was wrapped in a white thread around his neck and covered with a pair of new clothes. The pot was filled with pure water and the ingredients were covered with a lid.

sitasUtrAvRtaM kaMThe navavastrayugAvRtam ॥ zuddhAmbupUrNamutkUrcaM sadravyaM sapidhAnakam ॥ 12 ॥

A bee, a vardhaṇī, a conchshell or a wheel are also used. Without a thread or anything else, even a lotus leaf.

bhRGgAraM vardhanIM cApi zaMkhaM ca cakrameva vA ॥ vinA sUtrAdikaM sarvaM padmapatramathApi vA ॥ 13 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतस्यासनारविंदस्य कल्पयेदुत्तरे दले ॥ अग्रतश्चंदनांभोभिरस्त्रराजस्य वर्धनीम् ॥ १४ ॥
