आस्थाय भोगिपर्यंकशयने तोयमध्यगः ॥ तन्नाभिपंकजाज्जातः पञ्चवक्त्रः पितामहः ॥ २६ ॥
He sat down on a bed made of pleasure and was in the middle of the water. From the lotus of that navel the five-faced grandfather was born.

AsthAya bhogiparyaMkazayane toyamadhyagaH ॥ tannAbhipaMkajAjjAtaH paJcavaktraH pitAmahaH ॥ 26 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसिसृक्षमाणो लोकांस्त्रीन्न सक्तो ह्यसहायवान् ॥ मुनीन्दश ससर्जादौ मानसानमितौजसः ॥ २७ ॥
When He wanted to create the three worlds, He was not attached to Him, for He was helpless. In the beginning he created ten sages of immeasurable prowess.

sisRkSamANo lokAMstrInna sakto hyasahAyavAn ॥ munIndaza sasarjAdau mAnasAnamitaujasaH ॥ 27 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतेषां सिद्धिविवृद्ध्यर्थं मां प्रोवाच पितामहः ॥ मत्पुत्राणां महादेव शक्तिं देहि महेश्वर ॥ २८ ॥
In order to enhance their achievement Brahmā said to me ‘O great lord, please bestow the power on my sons.’

teSAM siddhivivRddhyarthaM mAM provAca pitAmahaH ॥ matputrANAM mahAdeva zaktiM dehi mahezvara ॥ 28 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptइत्येवं प्रार्थितस्तेन पञ्चवक्त्रधरो ह्यहम् ॥ पञ्चाक्षराणि क्रमशः प्रोक्तवान्पद्मयोनये ॥ २९ ॥
Thus requested by him, I who had assumed five faces, mentioned the five syllables, to the lotus-born one.

ityevaM prArthitastena paJcavaktradharo hyaham ॥ paJcAkSarANi kramazaH proktavAnpadmayonaye ॥ 29 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptस पञ्चवदनैस्तानि गृह्णंल्लोकपितामहः ॥ वाच्यवाचकभावेन ज्ञातवान्मां महेश्वरम् ॥ ३० ॥
Accepting them with his five faces, the grandfather of the worlds understood me as the great lord, the expressive of great meaning.

sa paJcavadanaistAni gRhNaMllokapitAmahaH ॥ vAcyavAcakabhAvena jJAtavAnmAM mahezvaram ॥ 30 ॥
