लिंगैर्मच्छासनादिष्टैस्त्रिपुंड्रादिभिरंकितः ॥ ममोपचारनिरतः कायः कायो न चेतरः ॥ ५१ ॥
The body that is marked by the characteristic symbols as prescribed by me such as Tripuṇḍras, and that is engaged in rendering service unto me is the true body—nothing else.
english translation
liMgairmacchAsanAdiSTaistripuMDrAdibhiraMkitaH ॥ mamopacAranirataH kAyaH kAyo na cetaraH ॥ 51 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमदर्चाकर्म विज्ञेयं बाह्ये यागादिनोच्यते ॥ मदर्थे देहसंशोषस्तपः कृच्छ्रादि नो मतम् ॥ ५२ ॥
By Karman my worship shall be understood and’not such extraneous rites as sacrifice, etc. Tapas or penance is the withering of physical body for my sake and not the rites Kṛcchra, etc.
english translation
madarcAkarma vijJeyaM bAhye yAgAdinocyate ॥ madarthe dehasaMzoSastapaH kRcchrAdi no matam ॥ 52 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptजपः पञ्चाक्षराभ्यासः प्रणवाभ्यास एव च ॥ रुद्राध्यायादिकाभ्यासो न वेदाध्ययनादिकम् ॥ ५३ ॥
Japa is the repetition of either the five-syllabled mantra or the Praṇava or the Rudrādhyāya hymn and not the study of the Vedas.

japaH paJcAkSarAbhyAsaH praNavAbhyAsa eva ca ॥ rudrAdhyAyAdikAbhyAso na vedAdhyayanAdikam ॥ 53 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptध्यानम्मद्रूपचिंताद्यं नात्माद्यर्थसमाधयः ॥ ममागमार्थविज्ञानं ज्ञानं नान्यार्थवेदनम् ॥ ५४ ॥
Meditation is the pondering over my form and not the trances of the soul. Jñāna is the knowledge of my Āgamas and not the understanding of other topics.

dhyAnammadrUpaciMtAdyaM nAtmAdyarthasamAdhayaH ॥ mamAgamArthavijJAnaM jJAnaM nAnyArthavedanam ॥ 54 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptबाह्ये वाभ्यंतरे वाथ यत्र स्यान्मनसो रतिः ॥ प्राग्वासनावशाद्देवि तत्त्वनिष्ठां समाचरेत् ॥ ५५ ॥
O gentle lady, stability in the Tattvas shall be practised beginning with an external or internal object where the mind feels interested urged by previous impressions.

bAhye vAbhyaMtare vAtha yatra syAnmanaso ratiH ॥ prAgvAsanAvazAddevi tattvaniSThAM samAcaret ॥ 55 ॥
