Urged by her, the moon-crested lord narrated to her the sacred scripture—the sequel to all Āgamas.

ऋभुस्सत्यो भार्गवश्च ह्यंगिराः सविता द्विजाः ॥ मृत्युः शतक्रतुर्धीमान्वसिष्ठो मुनिपुंगवः ॥ ४४ ॥

The brāhmaṇas were Ṛbhu, Satya, Bhṛgu, Aṅgirā and Savitā. Death was the sacrifice of a hundred sacrifices by the wise Vasishta the foremost of sages.
