प्रणमेद्वा पठेदेताञ्छ्लोकाञ्छ्रुतिमुखानिमान् ॥ न तस्य दुर्ल्लभं किंचिद्भक्तश्चेन्मुच्यते दृढम् ॥ ३६ ॥

One should bow down to the Lord and recite these verses from the mouth of the Vedas. Nothing is difficult for Him if a devotee is firmly liberated.

english translation

praNamedvA paThedetAJchlokAJchrutimukhAnimAn ॥ na tasya durllabhaM kiMcidbhaktazcenmucyate dRDham ॥ 36 ॥

तस्मादभ्यर्चयेनित्यं शिवमादित्यरूपिणम् ॥ धर्मकामार्थमुक्त्यर्थं मनसा कर्मणा गिरा ॥ ३७ ॥

Hence for the sake of virtue, wealth, love and salvation, one shall mentally verbally and physically worship Śiva in the form of the sun.

tasmAdabhyarcayenityaM zivamAdityarUpiNam ॥ dharmakAmArthamuktyarthaM manasA karmaNA girA ॥ 37 ॥

अथ देवान्समालोक्य मण्डलस्थो महेश्वरः ॥ सर्वागमोत्तरं दत्त्वा शास्त्रमंतरधाद्धरः ॥ ३८ ॥

Then the lord stationed in the disc glanced at the gods, revealed the sacred scripture, the sequel to all the Āgamas and vanished.

atha devAnsamAlokya maNDalastho mahezvaraH ॥ sarvAgamottaraM dattvA zAstramaMtaradhAddharaH ॥ 38 ॥

तत्र पूजाधिकारो ऽयं ब्रह्मक्षत्रविशामिति ॥ ज्ञात्वा प्रणम्य देवेशं देवा जग्मुर्यथागतम् ॥ ३९ ॥

Understanding that the Brahmins, Kṣatriyas and the Vaiśyas are authorised in the worship, the gods bowed to the lord and went the way they had come.

tatra pUjAdhikAro 'yaM brahmakSatravizAmiti ॥ jJAtvA praNamya devezaM devA jagmuryathAgatam ॥ 39 ॥

अथ कालेन महता तस्मिञ्छास्त्रे तिरोहिते ॥ भर्तारं परिपप्रच्छ तदंकस्था महेश्वरी ॥ ४० ॥

After a pretty long interval the sacred scripture was forgotten. The goddess seated in the lap of her husband asked him about it.
