स पुंविशेषः परमो भगवानन्तकांतकः ॥ चेतनचेतनोन्मुक्तः प्रपञ्चाच्च परात्परः ॥ १६ ॥
That Supreme Personality of Godhead is the destroyer of death He is free from consciousness and unconsciousness and is transcendental to the world.
english translation
sa puMvizeSaH paramo bhagavAnantakAMtakaH ॥ cetanacetanonmuktaH prapaJcAcca parAtparaH ॥ 16 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptशिवेनातिशयत्वेन ज्ञानैश्वर्ये विलोकिते ॥ लोकेशातिशयत्वेन स्थितं प्राहुर्मनीषिणः ॥ १७ ॥
Since the knowledge and supremacy of Śiva excels those of others he excels all the lords of the worlds so say the intelligent persons.
english translation
zivenAtizayatvena jJAnaizvarye vilokite ॥ lokezAtizayatvena sthitaM prAhurmanISiNaH ॥ 17 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptप्रतिसर्गप्रसूतानां ब्रह्मणां शास्त्रविस्तरम् ॥ उपदेष्टा स एवादौ कालावच्छेदवर्तिनाम् ॥ १८ ॥
In the beginning he was the instructor of the scriptural texts to the Brahmans born during the period of re-creation.
english translation
pratisargaprasUtAnAM brahmaNAM zAstravistaram ॥ upadeSTA sa evAdau kAlAvacchedavartinAm ॥ 18 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकालावच्छेदयुक्तानां गुरूणामप्यसौ गुरुः ॥ सर्वेषामेव सर्वेशः कालावच्छेदवर्जितः ॥ १९ ॥
He is not conditioned by time. He is the lord of all. He is the preceptor of all the preceptors, subject to the influence of Time.

kAlAvacchedayuktAnAM gurUNAmapyasau guruH ॥ sarveSAmeva sarvezaH kAlAvacchedavarjitaH ॥ 19 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptशुद्धा स्वाभाविकी तस्य शक्तिस्सर्वातिशायिनी ॥ ज्ञानमप्रतिमं नित्यं वपुरत्यन्तनिर्मितम् ॥ २० ॥
His Śakti is pure, natural and all-excelling. His knowledge is unparalleled. His physical body is eternal and built to defy death.

zuddhA svAbhAvikI tasya zaktissarvAtizAyinI ॥ jJAnamapratimaM nityaM vapuratyantanirmitam ॥ 20 ॥
