स पुंविशेषः परमो भगवानन्तकांतकः ॥ चेतनचेतनोन्मुक्तः प्रपञ्चाच्च परात्परः ॥ १६ ॥

That Supreme Personality of Godhead is the destroyer of death He is free from consciousness and unconsciousness and is transcendental to the world.

Since the knowledge and supremacy of Śiva excels those of others he excels all the lords of the worlds so say the intelligent persons.
