मूर्तयः पञ्च देवस्य वंदनीयाः प्रयत्नतः ॥ श्रेयोर्थिभिर्नरैर्नित्यं श्रेयसामेकहेतवः ॥ १६ ॥
The five Mūrtis of the lord, the sole causes of prosperity shall be assiduously saluted by men seeking Śreyas.

तस्य देवादिदेवस्य मूर्त्यष्टकमयं जगत् ॥ तस्मिन्व्याप्य स्थितं विश्वं सूत्रे मणिगणा इव ॥ १७ ॥
The universe consists of eight Munis, of the primordial lord of the gods, wherein lies stretched the universe as the gems and beads in the string.

शर्वो भवस्तथा रुद्र उग्रो भीमः पशोः पतिः ॥ ईशानश्च महादेवो मूर्तयश्चाष्ट विश्रुताः ॥ १८ ॥
These famous eight Mūrtis are Śarva, Bhava, Rudra, Ugra, Bhīma, Paśupati, Īśāna, and Mahādeva.

भूम्यंभोग्निमरुद्व्योमक्षेत्रज्ञार्कनिशाकराः ॥ अधिष्ठिता महेशस्य शर्वाद्यैरष्टमूर्तिभिः ॥ १९ ॥
The earth, waters, fire, wind, ether, Kṣetrajña, the sun and the moon are presided over by the eight Mūrtis, Śarva, etc, of the lord.

चराचरात्मकं विश्वं धत्ते विश्वंभरात्मिका ॥ शार्वीर्शिवाह्वया मूर्तिरिति शास्त्रस्य निश्चयः ॥ २० ॥
This is the conclusion of the scripture that the Mūrti of Śarva, in the form of the earth upholds the universe consisting of the mobile and immobile beings.
