प्रथमाद्यैश्च या देव्यो दंडिता देवमातरः ॥ तासामपि यथापूर्वाण्यंगानि गिरिशो ददौ ॥ ३६ ॥
He restored the goddesses—mothers of the gods who had been punished by the Pramathas and others.
english translation
prathamAdyaizca yA devyo daMDitA devamAtaraH ॥ tAsAmapi yathApUrvANyaMgAni girizo dadau ॥ 36 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदक्षस्य भगवानेव स्वयं ब्रह्मा पितामहः ॥ तत्पापानुगुणं चक्रे जरच्छागमुखं मुखम् ॥ ३७ ॥
Lord Brahma made the face of Dakṣa look like the the face of an old goat as a befitting punishment for his sins.
english translation
dakSasya bhagavAneva svayaM brahmA pitAmahaH ॥ tatpApAnuguNaM cakre jaracchAgamukhaM mukham ॥ 37 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसो ऽपि संज्ञां ततो लब्ध्वा स दृष्ट्वा जीवितः सुधी ॥ भीतः कृताञ्जलिः शंभुं तुष्टाव प्रलपन्बहु ॥ ३८ ॥
He was resuscitated and endowed with good intellect. On seeing Śiva he was afraid. With palms joined in reverence he eulogised Śiva.
english translation
so 'pi saMjJAM tato labdhvA sa dRSTvA jIvitaH sudhI ॥ bhItaH kRtAJjaliH zaMbhuM tuSTAva pralapanbahu ॥ 38 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदक्ष उवाच ॥ जय देव जगन्नाथ लोकानुग्रहकारक ॥ कृपां कुरु महेशानापराधं मे क्षमस्व ह ॥ ३९ ॥
Dakṣa said:— O lord of the universe, O cause of the blessing for the worlds, O lord, be merciful. Forgive my guilt.
english translation
dakSa uvAca ॥ jaya deva jagannAtha lokAnugrahakAraka ॥ kRpAM kuru mahezAnAparAdhaM me kSamasva ha ॥ 39 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकर्ता भर्ता च हर्ता च त्वमेव जगतां प्रभो ॥ मया ज्ञातं विशेषेण विष्ण्वादिसकलेश्वरः ॥ ४० ॥
You are the creator, protector and the annihilator of the worlds. This has been known by me particularly. You are the lord of Viṣṇu and all others.

kartA bhartA ca hartA ca tvameva jagatAM prabho ॥ mayA jJAtaM vizeSeNa viSNvAdisakalezvaraH ॥ 40 ॥
