आत्मैश्वर्या महात्मानस्तिष्ठंतीहाब्भ्रसंगमात् ॥ आग्निष्वात्ता बर्हिषदः पितरो द्विविधाः स्मृताः ॥ ४७ ॥

The great souls, who are self-sufficient, remain in this world because of the confluence of the waters. There are two kinds of forefathers, namely the Agniṣvātta, the Barhiṣada and the Pitā.

english translation

AtmaizvaryA mahAtmAnastiSThaMtIhAbbhrasaMgamAt ॥ AgniSvAttA barhiSadaH pitaro dvividhAH smRtAH ॥ 47 ॥
