इत्येष ऋषिसर्गस्तु सानुबंधः प्रकीर्तितः ॥ समासाद्विस्तराद्वक्तुमशक्यो ऽयमिति द्विजाः ॥ ३६ ॥
This is the creation of the sages. It is impossible to mention this in detail.
english translation
ityeSa RSisargastu sAnubaMdhaH prakIrtitaH ॥ samAsAdvistarAdvaktumazakyo 'yamiti dvijAH ॥ 36 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयो ऽसौ रुद्रात्मको बह्निब्रह्मणो मानसस्सुतः ॥ स्वाहा तस्य प्रिया लेभे पुत्रांस्त्रीनमितौजसः ॥ ३७ ॥
Svāhā, wife of the fire-god the mental son of Brahma in the form of Rudra, bore three sons of unmeasured splendour.
english translation
yo 'sau rudrAtmako bahnibrahmaNo mAnasassutaH ॥ svAhA tasya priyA lebhe putrAMstrInamitaujasaH ॥ 37 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपावकः पवमानश्च शुचिरित्येष ते त्रयः ॥ निर्मंथ्यः पवमानस्स्याद्वैद्युतः पावकस्स्मृतः ॥ ३८ ॥
They are Pāvaka, Pavamāna and Śuci. Pavamāna is the fire kindled by attrition. Pāvaka is the fire produced by lightning.

pAvakaH pavamAnazca zucirityeSa te trayaH ॥ nirmaMthyaH pavamAnassyAdvaidyutaH pAvakassmRtaH ॥ 38 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसूर्ये तपति यश्चासौ शुचिः सौर उदाहृतः ॥ हव्यवाहः कव्यवाहः सहरक्षा इति त्रयः ॥ ३९ ॥
The sun that shines in the sun is called the pure sun. There are three types of sacrifices: Havyavaha, Kavyavaha and Saharaksha.

sUrye tapati yazcAsau zuciH saura udAhRtaH ॥ havyavAhaH kavyavAhaH saharakSA iti trayaH ॥ 39 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptत्रयाणां क्रमशः पुत्रा देवपितृसुराश्च ते ॥ एतेषां पुत्रपौत्राश्च चत्वारिंशन्नवैव ते ॥ ४० ॥
The sons of these three sons were gradually born of the demigods, forefathers and demigods. They had forty-nine sons and grandsons.
