तत्संततीया बहवः पौलस्त्या इति विश्रुताः ॥ क्षमा तु सुषुवे पुत्रान्पुलहस्य प्रजापतेः ॥ २६ ॥
Many of his descendants were well known as Paulastyas. Kṣamā gave birth to sons by Pulaha, the son of Prajāpati Dakṣa.

कर्दमश्च सुरिश्चैव सहिष्णुश्चेति ते त्रयः ॥ त्रेताग्निवर्चसस्सर्वे येषां वंशः प्रतिष्ठितः ॥ २७ ॥
They were named Kardama, Suri and Sahiṣṇu. All of them were as bright as the fire of Treta and their lineage was established.

क्रतोः क्रतुसमान्भार्या सन्नतिस्सुषुवे सुतान् ॥ नैषां भार्याश्च पुत्राश्च सर्वे ते ह्यूर्ध्वरेतसः ॥ २८ ॥
Sannati, wife of Kratu, bore him sons who were equal to Kratu. They did not marry and hence were issueless.

षष्टिस्तानि सहस्राणि वालखिल्या इति स्मृताः ॥ अनूरोरग्रतो यांति परिवार्य दिवाकरम् ॥ २९ ॥
They were sixty thousand in number and known as Vālakhilyas. They surround the sun and go ahead of his charioteer.

अत्रेर्भार्यानुसूया च पञ्चात्रेयानसूयत ॥ कन्यकां च श्रुतिं नाम माता शंखपदस्य च ॥ ३० ॥
Atri’s wife Anasūya bore five sons the Ātreyas and a daughter Śruti, the mother of Śaṅkhapada.
