सर्वं जगदिदं चैषा संमोहयति मायया ॥ ईश्वरात्सैव जाताभूदजाता परमार्थतः ॥ ११ ॥
It is she who fascinates the entire universe with her Māyā. Really she is unborn but she appeared to be born of Śiva.

न यस्या परमो भावः सुराणामपि गोचरः ॥ विश्वामरेश्वरी चैव विभक्ता भर्तुरंगतः ॥ १२ ॥
Her great form is not visible even to the gods. Such a great goddess of all the gods was divided in the body of her lord.

तां दृष्ट्वा परमेशानीं सर्वलोकमहेश्वरीम् ॥ सर्वज्ञां सर्वगां सूक्ष्मां सदसद्व्यक्तिवर्जिताम् ॥ १३ ॥
Seeing that goddess of fortune the supreme controller of all the worlds She is omniscient and omnipresent. She is subtle and devoid of the manifestations of cause and effect.

परमां निखिलं भासा भासयन्तीमिदं जगत् ॥ प्रणिपत्य महादेवीं प्रार्थयामास वै विराट् ॥ १४ ॥
She illuminates the entire universe with her supreme effulgence. Lord Virāta offered obeisances to the goddess Mahādevī and prayed to her.

ब्रह्मोवाच ॥ देवि देवेन सृष्टो ऽहमादौ सर्वजगन्मयि ॥ प्रजासर्गे नियुक्तश्च सृजामि सकलं जगत् ॥ १५ ॥
Brahmā said:— O Goddess in the beginning I was created by the lord and employed in the activity of the creation. I create the universe.
