यामाहुर्ब्रह्मविद्वांसो देवीं दिव्यगुणान्विताम् ॥ परस्य परमां शक्तिं भवस्य परमात्मनः ॥ ७ ॥

It is the goddess whom scholars of the Vedas call the greatest Śakti endowed with the divine qualities of Śiva the great soul.

yAmAhurbrahmavidvAMso devIM divyaguNAnvitAm ॥ parasya paramAM zaktiM bhavasya paramAtmanaH ॥ 7 ॥

यस्यां न खलु विद्यंते जन्म मृत्युजरादयः ॥ या भवानी भवस्यांगात्समाविरभवत्किल ॥ ८ ॥

sanskrit

It was the goddess in whom there is neither birth, nor death nor old age nor other similar things. It was the goddess who manifested herself from the body of Śiva.

yasyAM na khalu vidyaMte janma mRtyujarAdayaH ॥ yA bhavAnI bhavasyAMgAtsamAvirabhavatkila ॥ 8 ॥
