क्षीरार्णवालये शुभ्रे विमाने सूर्यसंनिभे ॥ हेमरत्नान्विते दिव्ये मनसा तेन निर्मिते ॥ ३६ ॥

The Lord was seated in a white aerial chariot resembling the sun in the ocean of milk. It was divinely adorned with gold and gems and was created by him with his mind.

kSIrArNavAlaye zubhre vimAne sUryasaMnibhe ॥ hemaratnAnvite divye manasA tena nirmite ॥ 36 ॥

अनंतभोगशय्यायां शयानं पंकजेक्षणम् ॥ चतुर्भुजमुदारांगं सर्वाभरणभूषितम् ॥ ३७ ॥

The lotus-eyed Lord was lying on a bed of infinite enjoyment. He had four arms and a generous body and was adorned with all kinds of ornaments.

anaMtabhogazayyAyAM zayAnaM paMkajekSaNam ॥ caturbhujamudArAMgaM sarvAbharaNabhUSitam ॥ 37 ॥

शंखचक्रधरं सौम्यं चन्द्रबिंबसमाननम् ॥ श्रीवत्सवक्षसं देवं प्रसन्नमधुरस्मितम् ॥ ३८ ॥

He was gentle and carried a conchshell and disc and his face resembled the reflection of the moon. He is the god with the chest of the Śrīvatsa and a cheerful and sweet smile.

zaMkhacakradharaM saumyaM candrabiMbasamAnanam ॥ zrIvatsavakSasaM devaM prasannamadhurasmitam ॥ 38 ॥

धरामृदुकरांभोजस्पर्शरक्तपदांबुजम् ॥ क्षीरार्णवामृतमिव शयानं योगनिद्रया ॥ ३९ ॥

The touch of the soft hands of the earth and the red lotus feet of the Lord. He lay in a yogic sleep like the nectar of the ocean of milk.

dharAmRdukarAMbhojasparzaraktapadAMbujam ॥ kSIrArNavAmRtamiva zayAnaM yoganidrayA ॥ 39 ॥

तमसा कालरुद्राख्यं रजसा कनकांडजम् ॥ सत्त्वेन सर्वगं विष्णुं निर्गुणत्वे महेश्वरम् ॥ ४० ॥

By darkness he is known as Kāla-rudra, and by dust he is known as Kanakaṇḍa. Vishnu who is omnipresent in Sattva and Mahasvara in His transcendental nature.

tamasA kAlarudrAkhyaM rajasA kanakAMDajam ॥ sattvena sarvagaM viSNuM nirguNatve mahezvaram ॥ 40 ॥
