तटप्रायातिविषमैः पर्वतैर्वृक्षसंकुलैः ॥ प्रतप्तांगारयुक्तेन यांति मार्गेण दुःखिताः ॥ ११॥
Elsewhere it is full of mountains overgrown with trees and resembling impassable bunds. The distressd persons go along the path full of glowing coal.

taTaprAyAtiviSamaiH parvatairvRkSasaMkulaiH ॥ prataptAMgArayuktena yAMti mArgeNa duHkhitAH ॥ 11॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptक्वचिद्विषमगर्तैश्च क्वचिल्लोष्टैस्सुदुष्करैः ॥ सुतप्तवालुकाभिश्च तथा तीक्ष्णैश्च शंकुभिः॥ १२॥
In other places it is full of deep irregular chasms and canyons, elsewhere, of rugged lumps of clay; of burning sands here and sharp spikes there.

kvacidviSamagartaizca kvacilloSTaissuduSkaraiH ॥ sutaptavAlukAbhizca tathA tIkSNaizca zaMkubhiH॥ 12॥

aneka zAkhAvitatairvyAptaM vaMzavanaiH kvacit॥ kaSTena tamasA mArge nAnAlambena kutracit॥ 13॥
