सीमन्तोऽथाष्टमे मासे गर्भरूपसमृद्धिकृत् ।। सुखप्रसवसिद्धौ च तेनाकारि कृपाविदा ।। ५ ।।

Then in the eighth month he performed the holy rite of Sīmanta which is conducive to the growth of the embryo and which facilitates easy delivery of the child.

english translation

sImanto'thASTame mAse garbharUpasamRddhikRt || sukhaprasavasiddhau ca tenAkAri kRpAvidA || 5 ||
