नारायणेन्दुमुख्यैस्तु देवैः क्षिप्तानि यानि च ॥ आयुधानि समस्तानि प्रणेमुस्त्रिशिखं च तत् ॥ २६ ॥
All the weapons hurled by the devas of whom Nārāyaṇa and Indra were the most important, bowed down in reverence to that trident.
english translation
nArAyaNendumukhyaistu devaiH kSiptAni yAni ca ॥ AyudhAni samastAni praNemustrizikhaM ca tat ॥ 26 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदेवाश्च दुद्रुवुस्सर्वे ध्वस्तवीर्या दिवौकसः ॥ तस्थौ तत्र हरिर्भीतः केवलं मायिनां वरः ॥ २७ ॥
Bereft of their virility, the heaven-dwelling devas fled. Viṣṇu, alone, the foremost of those who make use of Māyā, remained there but he was afraid.
english translation
devAzca dudruvussarve dhvastavIryA divaukasaH ॥ tasthau tatra harirbhItaH kevalaM mAyinAM varaH ॥ 27 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptससर्ज भगवान् विष्णुः स्वदेहात्पुरुषोत्तमः ॥ आत्मनस्सदृशान् दिव्यान् लक्षलक्षायुतान् गणान् ॥ २८ ॥
Viṣṇu, the lord, created out of his body millions of divine beings like himself.
english translation
sasarja bhagavAn viSNuH svadehAtpuruSottamaH ॥ AtmanassadRzAn divyAn lakSalakSAyutAn gaNAn ॥ 28 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptते चापि युयुधुस्तत्र वीरा विष्णुगणास्ततः ॥ मुनिनैकेन देवर्षे दधीचेन शिवात्मना ॥ २९ ॥
O celestial sage, those Viṣṇugaṇas of heroic power fought with the single sage Dadhīca identical with Śiva.
english translation
te cApi yuyudhustatra vIrA viSNugaNAstataH ॥ muninaikena devarSe dadhIcena zivAtmanA ॥ 29 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततो विष्णुगणान् तान्वै नियुध्य बहुशो रणे ॥ ददाह सहसा सर्वान् दधी चश्शैव सत्तमः ॥ 2-2-39-३० ॥
Then withstanding the entire hosts of Viṣṇugaṇas, Dadhīca, the most excellent of the devotees of Śiva, burnt them all in the battle.

tato viSNugaNAn tAnvai niyudhya bahuzo raNe ॥ dadAha sahasA sarvAn dadhI cazzaiva sattamaH ॥ 2-2-39-30 ॥
