देवाश्च दुद्रुवुस्सर्वे ध्वस्तवीर्या दिवौकसः ॥ तस्थौ तत्र हरिर्भीतः केवलं मायिनां वरः ॥ २७ ॥

sanskrit

Bereft of their virility, the heaven-dwelling devas fled. Viṣṇu, alone, the foremost of those who make use of Māyā, remained there but he was afraid.

english translation

devAzca dudruvussarve dhvastavIryA divaukasaH ॥ tasthau tatra harirbhItaH kevalaM mAyinAM varaH ॥ 27 ॥
