मत्त्वा वचो गरिष्ठं वा नियोक्तिपरिपूर्त्तये ॥ करिष्यामि विवाहं वै भक्तवश्यस्सदा ह्यहम् ॥ ३६ ॥
Considering your weighty words for the fulfilment of my promise and the goal of my task, I shall marry. I am always subservient to my devotees.
english translation
mattvA vaco gariSThaM vA niyoktiparipUrttaye ॥ kariSyAmi vivAhaM vai bhaktavazyassadA hyaham ॥ 36 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपरंतु यादृशीं कांतां ग्रहीष्यामि तथापणम् ॥ तच्छृणुष्व हरे ब्रह्मन् युक्तमेव वचो मम ॥ ३७ ॥
O Viṣṇu, O Brahmā, you must hear what sort of a wife I will be taking in accordance with that promise. What I say is indeed proper.
english translation
paraMtu yAdRzIM kAMtAM grahISyAmi tathApaNam ॥ tacchRNuSva hare brahman yuktameva vaco mama ॥ 37 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptया मे तेजस्समर्था हि ग्रहीतुं स्याद्विभागशः ॥ तां निदेशय भार्यार्थे योगिनीं कामरूपिणीम् ॥३८॥
Suggest a woman of comely features and Yogic practice who will be able to receive my semen virile in parts.
english translation
yA me tejassamarthA hi grahItuM syAdvibhAgazaH ॥ tAM nidezaya bhAryArthe yoginIM kAmarUpiNIm ॥38॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयोगयुक्ते मयि तथा योगिन्येव भविष्यति ॥ कामासक्ते मयि तथा कामिन्येव भविष्यति ॥ ३९ ॥
She must be a Yoginī when I practise Yoga and a loving woman when I indulge in love.
english translation
yogayukte mayi tathA yoginyeva bhaviSyati ॥ kAmAsakte mayi tathA kAminyeva bhaviSyati ॥ 39 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयमक्षरं वेदविदो निगदंति मनीषिणः ॥ ज्योतीरूपं शिवं ते च चिंतयिष्ये सनातनम् ॥ 2-2-16-४० ॥
ometimes I will be thinking about Śiva, my own form of splendour, the eternal principle which the scholars well versed in the Vedas call Imperishable.

yamakSaraM vedavido nigadaMti manISiNaH ॥ jyotIrUpaM zivaM te ca ciMtayiSye sanAtanam ॥ 2-2-16-40 ॥
