आत्मस्वरूप तव रूपपरंपराभिराभिस्ततं हर चराचररूपमेतत्॥ सर्वांतरात्मनिलयप्रतिरूपरूप नित्यं नतोऽस्मि परमात्मजनोऽष्टमूर्ते॥३१॥
O soul-formed one, O Śiva, this universe of the mobiles and immobiles is pervaded by these series of your forms. O eight-formed lord, having the form of the immanent soul, I always bow to you.

इत्यष्टमूर्तिभिरिमाभिरबंधबंधो युक्तौ करोषि खलु विश्वजनीनमूर्त्ते॥ एतत्ततं सुविततं प्रणतप्रणीत सर्वार्थसार्थपरमार्थ ततो नतोऽस्मि ॥३२॥
O kinsman of those devoid of kinsmen, O you of the form of universe, equipped with the eight forms, you make all expand. O lord, you make all objects available to those who bow to you. Hence I bow to you.

आत्मस्वरूप तव रूपपरंपराभिराभिस्ततं हर चराचररूपमेतत्॥ सर्वांतरात्मनिलयप्रतिरूपरूप नित्यं नतोऽस्मि परमात्मजनोऽष्टमूर्ते॥३१॥ सनत्कुमार उवाच ॥ अष्टमूर्त्यष्टकेनेत्थं परिष्टुत्येति भार्गवः ॥ भर्गं भूमिमिलन्मौलिः प्रणनाम पुनःपुनः ॥ ३३ ॥
Sanatkumāra said: Eulogising the eight formed Śiva by reciting the eight verses, Bhārgava touched the ground with his head and bowed again and again.
english translation
इति स्तुतो महादेवो भार्गवेणातितेजसा ॥ उत्थाय भूमेर्बाहुभ्यां धृत्वा तं प्रणतं द्विजम्॥३४॥
When he was eulogised by Bhārgava of great brilliance, the great god stood up and lifted the brahmin from the ground where he was bowing to him.
english translation
उवाच श्लक्ष्णया वाचा मेघनादगभीरया ॥ सुप्रीत्या दशनज्योत्स्ना प्रद्योतितदिंगतरः ॥३५॥
Holding him up, the lord spoke in a rumbling voice like that of the cloud but gentle in effect, illuminating the quarters with the moonlight-brilliance of his teeth.
