या इ॑न्द्र॒ भुज॒ आभ॑र॒: स्व॑र्वाँ॒ असु॑रेभ्यः । स्तो॒तार॒मिन्म॑घवन्नस्य वर्धय॒ ये च॒ त्वे वृ॒क्तब॑र्हिषः ॥ या इन्द्र भुज आभरः स्वर्वाँ असुरेभ्यः । स्तोतारमिन्मघवन्नस्य वर्धय ये च त्वे वृक्तबर्हिषः ॥
Indra, lord of heaven, with those good things which you have carried off from the asuras do youprosper, O Maghavan, your praiser and those who have spread for you the clipped grass.
english translation
यमि॑न्द्र दधि॒षे त्वमश्वं॒ गां भा॒गमव्य॑यम् । यज॑माने सुन्व॒ति दक्षि॑णावति॒ तस्मि॒न्तं धे॑हि॒ मा प॒णौ ॥ यमिन्द्र दधिषे त्वमश्वं गां भागमव्ययम् । यजमाने सुन्वति दक्षिणावति तस्मिन्तं धेहि मा पणौ ॥
Those horses, those cows, that imperishable wealth which you have seized (from your enemies)--bestow them on the sacrificer who offers the Soma and is liberal to the priests-- not on the niggard.
english translation
य इ॑न्द्र॒ सस्त्य॑व्र॒तो॑ऽनु॒ष्वाप॒मदे॑वयुः । स्वैः ष एवै॑र्मुमुर॒त्पोष्यं॑ र॒यिं स॑नु॒तर्धे॑हि॒ तं तत॑: ॥ य इन्द्र सस्त्यव्रतोऽनुष्वापमदेवयुः । स्वैः ष एवैर्मुमुरत्पोष्यं रयिं सनुतर्धेहि तं ततः ॥
Let him, Indra, who sleeps away careless of the gods and offering no sacrifices-- let him lose hisprecious wealth by his own evil courses, and then do you stow him away in some hidden place.
english translation
यच्छ॒क्रासि॑ परा॒वति॒ यद॑र्वा॒वति॑ वृत्रहन् । अत॑स्त्वा गी॒र्भिर्द्यु॒गदि॑न्द्र के॒शिभि॑: सु॒तावाँ॒ आ वि॑वासति ॥ यच्छक्रासि परावति यदर्वावति वृत्रहन् । अतस्त्वा गीर्भिर्द्युगदिन्द्र केशिभिः सुतावाँ आ विवासति ॥
Whether, Śakra, you are in the far-distant region, or whether, slayer of Vṛtra, you are in the lower-- thesacrificeer longs to being you, Indra, from thence by his hymns as by heaven-going steeds.
english translation
यद्वासि॑ रोच॒ने दि॒वः स॑मु॒द्रस्याधि॑ वि॒ष्टपि॑ । यत्पार्थि॑वे॒ सद॑ने वृत्रहन्तम॒ यद॒न्तरि॑क्ष॒ आ ग॑हि ॥ यद्वासि रोचने दिवः समुद्रस्याधि विष्टपि । यत्पार्थिवे सदने वृत्रहन्तम यदन्तरिक्ष आ गहि ॥
Or whether you are in the brightness of heaven, or whether in some region in the midst of the sea, orwhether, mightiest slayer of Vṛtra, in some abode in the earth, or whether in the firmament, -- come to us.
