आ नो॒ विश्वा॑सु॒ हव्य॒ इन्द्र॑: स॒मत्सु॑ भूषतु । उप॒ ब्रह्मा॑णि॒ सव॑नानि वृत्र॒हा प॑रम॒ज्या ऋची॑षमः ॥ आ नो विश्वासु हव्य इन्द्रः समत्सु भूषतु । उप ब्रह्माणि सवनानि वृत्रहा परमज्या ऋचीषमः ॥
May Indra, who is to be invoked in all battles regard our hykns and our libationsl he the slayer of Vṛtra,who crushes the mightiest (foes), who is worthy of his praise.
english translation
त्वं दा॒ता प्र॑थ॒मो राध॑साम॒स्यसि॑ स॒त्य ई॑शान॒कृत् । तु॒वि॒द्यु॒म्नस्य॒ युज्या वृ॑णीमहे पु॒त्रस्य॒ शव॑सो म॒हः ॥ त्वं दाता प्रथमो राधसामस्यसि सत्य ईशानकृत् । तुविद्युम्नस्य युज्या वृणीमहे पुत्रस्य शवसो महः ॥
You are the chief giver of wealth, you are truthful and make your worshippers rulers; we solicit(blessings) worthy of you, lord of vast riches, mighty son of strength.
english translation
ब्रह्मा॑ त इन्द्र गिर्वणः क्रि॒यन्ते॒ अन॑तिद्भुता । इ॒मा जु॑षस्व हर्यश्व॒ योज॒नेन्द्र॒ या ते॒ अम॑न्महि ॥ ब्रह्मा त इन्द्र गिर्वणः क्रियन्ते अनतिद्भुता । इमा जुषस्व हर्यश्व योजनेन्द्र या ते अमन्महि ॥
Indra, who are the object of hymns, unexaggerated praises are offered by us; lord of bay steeds, acceptthese fitting hymns, which we have meditated for you.
english translation
त्वं हि स॒त्यो म॑घव॒न्नना॑नतो वृ॒त्रा भूरि॑ न्यृ॒ञ्जसे॑ । स त्वं श॑विष्ठ वज्रहस्त दा॒शुषे॒ऽर्वाञ्चं॑ र॒यिमा कृ॑धि ॥ त्वं हि सत्यो मघवन्ननानतो वृत्रा भूरि न्यृञ्जसे । स त्वं शविष्ठ वज्रहस्त दाशुषेऽर्वाञ्चं रयिमा कृधि ॥
You are truthful, Maghavan, unhumbled yourself, you humble many enemies; most mighty thunderer,cause wealth to meet your worshipper.
english translation
त्वमि॑न्द्र य॒शा अ॑स्यृजी॒षी श॑वसस्पते । त्वं वृ॒त्राणि॑ हंस्यप्र॒तीन्येक॒ इदनु॑त्ता चर्षणी॒धृता॑ ॥ त्वमिन्द्र यशा अस्यृजीषी शवसस्पते । त्वं वृत्राणि हंस्यप्रतीन्येक इदनुत्ता चर्षणीधृता ॥
You, Indra, lord of strength, are the glorious possessor of the offered Soma, alone with (yourthunderbolt), that protector of men, you smite the enemies that none else could oppose or drive away.
