आ नो॑ याहि परा॒वतो॒ हरि॑भ्यां हर्य॒ताभ्या॑म् । इ॒ममि॑न्द्र सु॒तं पि॑ब ॥ आ नो याहि परावतो हरिभ्यां हर्यताभ्याम् । इममिन्द्र सुतं पिब ॥
Come to us from afar with your beloved horses; drink, Indra, this libation.
english translation
त्वामिद्वृ॑त्रहन्तम॒ जना॑सो वृ॒क्तब॑र्हिषः । हव॑न्ते॒ वाज॑सातये ॥ त्वामिद्वृत्रहन्तम जनासो वृक्तबर्हिषः । हवन्ते वाजसातये ॥
Destroyer of Vṛtra, men strewing the clipped sacred grass invoke you for the obtaining of food.
english translation
अनु॑ त्वा॒ रोद॑सी उ॒भे च॒क्रं न व॒र्त्येत॑शम् । अनु॑ सुवा॒नास॒ इन्द॑वः ॥ अनु त्वा रोदसी उभे चक्रं न वर्त्येतशम् । अनु सुवानास इन्दवः ॥
Both heaven and earth follow you as the wheels (of a car follow) the horse; the streams of the Somapoured forth (by the priests) follow (you).
english translation
मन्द॑स्वा॒ सु स्व॑र्णर उ॒तेन्द्र॑ शर्य॒णाव॑ति । मत्स्वा॒ विव॑स्वतो म॒ती ॥ मन्दस्वा सु स्वर्णर उतेन्द्र शर्यणावति । मत्स्वा विवस्वतो मती ॥
Rejoice, Indra, at the heaven-guiding sacrifice as Śaryaṇāvat; be exhilarated by the praise of the worshipper.
english translation
वा॒वृ॒धा॒न उप॒ द्यवि॒ वृषा॑ व॒ज्र्य॑रोरवीत् । वृ॒त्र॒हा सो॑म॒पात॑मः ॥ वावृधान उप द्यवि वृषा वज्र्यरोरवीत् । वृत्रहा सोमपातमः ॥
The vast wielder of the thunderbolt, the slayer of Vṛtra, the deep quaffer of the Soma, the showerer,roars near at hand in the sky.
