अग्ने॒ भ्रात॒: सह॑स्कृत॒ रोहि॑दश्व॒ शुचि॑व्रत । इ॒मं स्तोमं॑ जुषस्व मे ॥ अग्ने भ्रातः सहस्कृत रोहिदश्व शुचिव्रत । इमं स्तोमं जुषस्व मे ॥
Agni, (our) brother, who are elicited by strength, who have red horses, and are (the performer) of purerites, be propitiated by this my praise.
english translation
उ॒त त्वा॑ग्ने॒ मम॒ स्तुतो॑ वा॒श्राय॑ प्रति॒हर्य॑ते । गो॒ष्ठं गाव॑ इवाशत ॥ उत त्वाग्ने मम स्तुतो वाश्राय प्रतिहर्यते । गोष्ठं गाव इवाशत ॥
My praises hasten to you, Agni, as cows enter their stalls (to give milk) to the thirsting calves.
english translation
तुभ्यं॒ ता अ॑ङ्गिरस्तम॒ विश्वा॑: सुक्षि॒तय॒: पृथ॑क् । अग्ने॒ कामा॑य येमिरे ॥ तुभ्यं ता अङ्गिरस्तम विश्वाः सुक्षितयः पृथक् । अग्ने कामाय येमिरे ॥
To you, Agni, who are the chief of the Aṅgirasas, all people have severally recourse for the attainemntof their desires.
english translation
अ॒ग्निं धी॒भिर्म॑नी॒षिणो॒ मेधि॑रासो विप॒श्चित॑: । अ॒द्म॒सद्या॑य हिन्विरे ॥ अग्निं धीभिर्मनीषिणो मेधिरासो विपश्चितः । अद्मसद्याय हिन्विरे ॥
The wise, the intelligent, the sagacious, propitiate Agni with sacrifices for the attainment of food.
english translation
तं त्वामज्मे॑षु वा॒जिनं॑ तन्वा॒ना अ॑ग्ने अध्व॒रम् । वह्निं॒ होता॑रमीळते ॥ तं त्वामज्मेषु वाजिनं तन्वाना अग्ने अध्वरम् । वह्निं होतारमीळते ॥
Preparing the sacrifice in their mansions, (the worshippers) adore you, Agni, the powerful, the bearer(of the oblation), the invoker of the gods.
