अ॒यमेक॑ इ॒त्था पु॒रूरु च॑ष्टे॒ वि वि॒श्पति॑: । तस्य॑ व्र॒तान्यनु॑ वश्चरामसि ॥ अयमेक इत्था पुरूरु चष्टे वि विश्पतिः । तस्य व्रतान्यनु वश्चरामसि ॥
This one, the lord of man (Mitra), contemplates many vast things; we follow his rites for you.

a॒yameka॑ i॒tthA pu॒rUru ca॑STe॒ vi vi॒zpati॑: । tasya॑ vra॒tAnyanu॑ vazcarAmasi ॥ ayameka itthA purUru caSTe vi vizpatiH । tasya vratAnyanu vazcarAmasi ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअनु॒ पूर्वा॑ण्यो॒क्या॑ साम्रा॒ज्यस्य॑ सश्चिम । मि॒त्रस्य॑ व्र॒ता वरु॑णस्य दीर्घ॒श्रुत् ॥ अनु पूर्वाण्योक्या साम्राज्यस्य सश्चिम । मित्रस्य व्रता वरुणस्य दीर्घश्रुत् ॥
We observe the ancient rites of the imperial Varuṇa and the renowned Mitra, (rites) that are good for(our) dwelling.
english translation
anu॒ pUrvA॑Nyo॒kyA॑ sAmrA॒jyasya॑ sazcima । mi॒trasya॑ vra॒tA varu॑Nasya dIrgha॒zrut ॥ anu pUrvANyokyA sAmrAjyasya sazcima । mitrasya vratA varuNasya dIrghazrut ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपरि॒ यो र॒श्मिना॑ दि॒वोऽन्ता॑न्म॒मे पृ॑थि॒व्याः । उ॒भे आ प॑प्रौ॒ रोद॑सी महि॒त्वा ॥ परि यो रश्मिना दिवोऽन्तान्ममे पृथिव्याः । उभे आ पप्रौ रोदसी महित्वा ॥
(Mitra is he) who has measured with his rays the limits of both heaven and earth; who has filled bothheaven and earth with his greatness.

pari॒ yo ra॒zminA॑ di॒vo'ntA॑nma॒me pR॑thi॒vyAH । u॒bhe A pa॑prau॒ roda॑sI mahi॒tvA ॥ pari yo razminA divo'ntAnmame pRthivyAH । ubhe A paprau rodasI mahitvA ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptउदु॒ ष्य श॑र॒णे दि॒वो ज्योति॑रयंस्त॒ सूर्य॑: । अ॒ग्निर्न शु॒क्रः स॑मिधा॒न आहु॑तः ॥ उदु ष्य शरणे दिवो ज्योतिरयंस्त सूर्यः । अग्निर्न शुक्रः समिधान आहुतः ॥
He, Sūrya, has uplifted his radiance in the region of the heaven; kindled and invoked withburnt-offerings, he is bright, like Agni.

udu॒ Sya za॑ra॒Ne di॒vo jyoti॑rayaMsta॒ sUrya॑: । a॒gnirna zu॒kraH sa॑midhA॒na Ahu॑taH ॥ udu Sya zaraNe divo jyotirayaMsta sUryaH । agnirna zukraH samidhAna AhutaH ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptवचो॑ दी॒र्घप्र॑सद्म॒नीशे॒ वाज॑स्य॒ गोम॑तः । ईशे॒ हि पि॒त्वो॑ऽवि॒षस्य॑ दा॒वने॑ ॥ वचो दीर्घप्रसद्मनीशे वाजस्य गोमतः । ईशे हि पित्वोऽविषस्य दावने ॥
Raise your voice in the spacious hall of sacrifice (to him) who is lord over food derived from cattle, whois able to grant nutritious sustenance.
