तत्सूर्यं॒ रोद॑सी उ॒भे दो॒षा वस्तो॒रुप॑ ब्रुवे । भो॒जेष्व॒स्माँ अ॒भ्युच्च॑रा॒ सदा॑ ॥ तत्सूर्यं रोदसी उभे दोषा वस्तोरुप ब्रुवे । भोजेष्वस्माँ अभ्युच्चरा सदा ॥
I glorify by night and day that sun (Mitra and Varuṇa) and both the heaven and earth; do you (Varuṇa)ever bring us to the presence of the bountiful.
english translation
ऋ॒ज्रमु॑क्ष॒ण्याय॑ने रज॒तं हर॑याणे । रथं॑ यु॒क्तम॑सनाम सु॒षाम॑णि ॥ ऋज्रमुक्षण्यायने रजतं हरयाणे । रथं युक्तमसनाम सुषामणि ॥
We have received from the son of Suṣāman, the descendant of Ukṣan, the overcomer (of foes), awell-going chariot of silver, yoked (with a pair of horses).
english translation
ता मे॒ अश्व्या॑नां॒ हरी॑णां नि॒तोश॑ना । उ॒तो नु कृत्व्या॑नां नृ॒वाह॑सा ॥ ता मे अश्व्यानां हरीणां नितोशना । उतो नु कृत्व्यानां नृवाहसा ॥
Among bay horses these two are pre-eminently the destroyers (of foes), and of those eager in combat;the two strong bearers of men.
english translation
स्मद॑भीशू॒ कशा॑वन्ता॒ विप्रा॒ नवि॑ष्ठया म॒ती । म॒हो वा॒जिना॒वर्व॑न्ता॒ सचा॑सनम् ॥ स्मदभीशू कशावन्ता विप्रा नविष्ठया मती । महो वाजिनावर्वन्ता सचासनम् ॥
Through this new praise (of Mitra and Varuṇa) I have obtained at the same moment of the mightyprince, two fast-going sagacious steeds, with whip and reins.
