तमु॑ त्वा नू॒नमी॑महे॒ नव्यं॑ दंसिष्ठ॒ सन्य॑से । स त्वं नो॒ विश्वा॑ अ॒भिमा॑तीः स॒क्षणि॑: ॥ तमु त्वा नूनमीमहे नव्यं दंसिष्ठ सन्यसे । स त्वं नो विश्वा अभिमातीः सक्षणिः ॥
(Indra) of goodly aspect, we implore you who are entitled to praise, for (our) preservation; for you arethe overcomer of all our adversaries.
english translation
य ऋक्षा॒दंह॑सो मु॒चद्यो वार्या॑त्स॒प्त सिन्धु॑षु । वध॑र्दा॒सस्य॑ तुविनृम्ण नीनमः ॥ य ऋक्षादंहसो मुचद्यो वार्यात्सप्त सिन्धुषु । वधर्दासस्य तुविनृम्ण नीनमः ॥
(He it is) who rescues men from the wickedness of evil beings, who enriches (the dwellers) on theseven rivers; now hurl, you who abound in wealth, your weapon at the Dāsa.
english translation
यथा॑ वरो सु॒षाम्णे॑ स॒निभ्य॒ आव॑हो र॒यिम् । व्य॑श्वेभ्यः सुभगे वाजिनीवति ॥ यथा वरो सुषाम्णे सनिभ्य आवहो रयिम् । व्यश्वेभ्यः सुभगे वाजिनीवति ॥
As you, Varu, have distributed vast wealth to those who have solicited (riches) on behalf of Susāman,(so do you now distribute) to the descendants of Vyaśva; (and so too you), auspicious food-bestowing (Uṣas).
english translation
आ ना॒र्यस्य॒ दक्षि॑णा॒ व्य॑श्वाँ एतु सो॒मिन॑: । स्थू॒रं च॒ राध॑: श॒तव॑त्स॒हस्र॑वत् ॥ आ नार्यस्य दक्षिणा व्यश्वाँ एतु सोमिनः । स्थूरं च राधः शतवत्सहस्रवत् ॥
May the gifts of a humane (price), when offering the Soma libation, extend to the Vyaśvas, yes, andsubstantial wealthy by hundreds and thousands.
english translation
यत्त्वा॑ पृ॒च्छादी॑जा॒नः कु॑ह॒या कु॑हयाकृते । ए॒षो अप॑श्रितो व॒लो गो॑म॒तीमव॑ तिष्ठति ॥ यत्त्वा पृच्छादीजानः कुहया कुहयाकृते । एषो अपश्रितो वलो गोमतीमव तिष्ठति ॥
If any ask of you, (Uṣas), when anywhere present, where the sacrificer (Varu dwells), (reply) thepowerful (prince), the refuge of all, abides on (the banks of) the Gomatī river.
