पाता॑ वृत्र॒हा सु॒तमा घा॑ गम॒न्नारे अ॒स्मत् । नि य॑मते श॒तमू॑तिः ॥ पाता वृत्रहा सुतमा घा गमन्नारे अस्मत् । नि यमते शतमूतिः ॥
May the drinker of the Soma libation, the slayer of Vṛtra, approach, let him not be far from us; let thegranter of many protections keep in check (our enemies).
english translation
एह हरी॑ ब्रह्म॒युजा॑ श॒ग्मा व॑क्षत॒: सखा॑यम् । गी॒र्भिः श्रु॒तं गिर्व॑णसम् ॥ एह हरी ब्रह्मयुजा शग्मा वक्षतः सखायम् । गीर्भिः श्रुतं गिर्वणसम् ॥
May the delightful steeds who are harnessed by prayer bring hither (our) friends (Indra), magnified bypraises, deserving of laudation.
english translation
स्वा॒दव॒: सोमा॒ आ या॑हि श्री॒ताः सोमा॒ आ या॑हि । शिप्रि॒न्नृषी॑व॒: शची॑वो॒ नायमच्छा॑ सध॒माद॑म् ॥ स्वादवः सोमा आ याहि श्रीताः सोमा आ याहि । शिप्रिन्नृषीवः शचीवो नायमच्छा सधमादम् ॥
Handsome-chinned (Indra), the honoured of sages, the doer of great deeds, come, for well-flavoured isSoma; come, for the libations are ready mixed; his (your worshipper) now (invites you) to be present at this socialexhilarating rite.
english translation
स्तुत॑श्च॒ यास्त्वा॒ वर्ध॑न्ति म॒हे राध॑से नृ॒म्णाय॑ । इन्द्र॑ का॒रिणं॑ वृ॒धन्त॑: ॥ स्तुतश्च यास्त्वा वर्धन्ति महे राधसे नृम्णाय । इन्द्र कारिणं वृधन्तः ॥
They who praising you magnify you, Indra, the instrumental tutor of rites, and those (hymns which glorify) youhave (for their object) great riches and strength.
english translation
गिर॑श्च॒ यास्ते॑ गिर्वाह उ॒क्था च॒ तुभ्यं॒ तानि॑ । स॒त्रा द॑धि॒रे शवां॑सि ॥ गिरश्च यास्ते गिर्वाह उक्था च तुभ्यं तानि । सत्रा दधिरे शवांसि ॥
Upborne by hymns, those your praises and those prayers which are addressed to you, all combined,sustain your energies.
