को वे॑द॒ जान॑मेषां॒ को वा॑ पु॒रा सु॒म्नेष्वा॑स म॒रुता॑म् । यद्यु॑यु॒ज्रे कि॑ला॒स्य॑: ॥ को वेद जानमेषां को वा पुरा सुम्नेष्वास मरुताम् । यद्युयुज्रे किलास्यः ॥
Who knows the birth of these (Maruts)? who has formerly been (participant) of the enjoyments of them (by whom) the spotted deer are harnessed (to their chariots)?
english translation
ऐतान्रथे॑षु त॒स्थुष॒: कः शु॑श्राव क॒था य॑युः । कस्मै॑ सस्रुः सु॒दासे॒ अन्वा॒पय॒ इळा॑भिर्वृ॒ष्टय॑: स॒ह ॥ ऐतान्रथेषु तस्थुषः कः शुश्राव कथा ययुः । कस्मै सस्रुः सुदासे अन्वापय इळाभिर्वृष्टयः सह ॥
Who has head them, when standing in their cars, (declare) whither they go? Upon what liberal worshipper do their kindred rains descend together with manifold food?
english translation
ते म॑ आहु॒र्य आ॑य॒युरुप॒ द्युभि॒र्विभि॒र्मदे॑ । नरो॒ मर्या॑ अरे॒पस॑ इ॒मान्पश्य॒न्निति॑ ष्टुहि ॥ ते म आहुर्य आययुरुप द्युभिर्विभिर्मदे । नरो मर्या अरेपस इमान्पश्यन्निति ष्टुहि ॥
To me have they spoken; they have come to me with radiant steeds to (drink) the exhilarating beverage; to them (they have said), when, beholding them, who are the formless leaders (of rites), and friends of man, repeat our praise.
english translation
ये अ॒ञ्जिषु॒ ये वाशी॑षु॒ स्वभा॑नवः स्र॒क्षु रु॒क्मेषु॑ खा॒दिषु॑ । श्रा॒या रथे॑षु॒ धन्व॑सु ॥ ये अञ्जिषु ये वाशीषु स्वभानवः स्रक्षु रुक्मेषु खादिषु । श्राया रथेषु धन्वसु ॥
(The praise of them) who are all self-irradiating splendid in ornaments, in arms, in garlands, in breast-plural tes, in bracelets, in chariots, in bows.

यु॒ष्माकं॑ स्मा॒ रथाँ॒ अनु॑ मु॒दे द॑धे मरुतो जीरदानवः । वृ॒ष्टी द्यावो॑ य॒तीरि॑व ॥ युष्माकं स्मा रथाँ अनु मुदे दधे मरुतो जीरदानवः । वृष्टी द्यावो यतीरिव ॥
I contemplate your chariots, munificent Maruts, with delight, like wandering lights in the rains.
