स्व॒स्ति नो॑ दि॒वो अ॑ग्ने पृथि॒व्या वि॒श्वायु॑र्धेहि य॒जथा॑य देव । सचे॑महि॒ तव॑ दस्म प्रके॒तैरु॑रु॒ष्या ण॑ उ॒रुभि॑र्देव॒ शंसै॑: ॥ स्वस्ति नो दिवो अग्ने पृथिव्या विश्वायुर्धेहि यजथाय देव । सचेमहि तव दस्म प्रकेतैरुरुष्या ण उरुभिर्देव शंसैः ॥
Divine Agni, bestow upon us from earth and heaven prosperity and abundant food, that we may beable to offer sacrifices. May we be associated, beautiful (Agni), with your indications (of favour); protect us, divine Agni, on account of our many hymns.

इ॒मा अ॑ग्ने म॒तय॒स्तुभ्यं॑ जा॒ता गोभि॒रश्वै॑र॒भि गृ॑णन्ति॒ राध॑: । य॒दा ते॒ मर्तो॒ अनु॒ भोग॒मान॒ड्वसो॒ दधा॑नो म॒तिभि॑: सुजात ॥ इमा अग्ने मतयस्तुभ्यं जाता गोभिरश्वैरभि गृणन्ति राधः । यदा ते मर्तो अनु भोगमानड्वसो दधानो मतिभिः सुजात ॥
These hymns, addressed, Agni, to you, praise you for wealth, together with cattle and horses; when amortal obtains the means of enjoyment from the, (then), opulent and well-born Agni, you, who are the granter ofbenefits, (are celebrated) by our praises.

अ॒ग्निं म॑न्ये पि॒तर॑म॒ग्निमा॒पिम॒ग्निं भ्रात॑रं॒ सद॒मित्सखा॑यम् । अ॒ग्नेरनी॑कं बृह॒तः स॑पर्यं दि॒वि शु॒क्रं य॑ज॒तं सूर्य॑स्य ॥ अग्निं मन्ये पितरमग्निमापिमग्निं भ्रातरं सदमित्सखायम् । अग्नेरनीकं बृहतः सपर्यं दिवि शुक्रं यजतं सूर्यस्य ॥
I regard Agni as a father, as a kinsman, as a brother, as a constant friend. I reverence the face of themighty Agni, radiant in heaven, adorable as the sun.

सि॒ध्रा अ॑ग्ने॒ धियो॑ अ॒स्मे सनु॑त्री॒र्यं त्राय॑से॒ दम॒ आ नित्य॑होता । ऋ॒तावा॒ स रो॒हिद॑श्वः पुरु॒क्षुर्द्युभि॑रस्मा॒ अह॑भिर्वा॒मम॑स्तु ॥ सिध्रा अग्ने धियो अस्मे सनुत्रीर्यं त्रायसे दम आ नित्यहोता । ऋतावा स रोहिदश्वः पुरुक्षुर्द्युभिरस्मा अहभिर्वाममस्तु ॥
Agni, our earnest praises have been composed for you. May he whom you, the perpetual invoker ofthe gods, protect in the sacrificial chamber, be rich in sacrifices, the master of red steeds, the possessor ofabundant food; may the desirable (oblation) be granted him on shining days.

द्युभि॑र्हि॒तं मि॒त्रमि॑व प्र॒योगं॑ प्र॒त्नमृ॒त्विज॑मध्व॒रस्य॑ जा॒रम् । बा॒हुभ्या॑म॒ग्निमा॒यवो॑ऽजनन्त वि॒क्षु होता॑रं॒ न्य॑सादयन्त ॥ द्युभिर्हितं मित्रमिव प्रयोगं प्रत्नमृत्विजमध्वरस्य जारम् । बाहुभ्यामग्निमायवोऽजनन्त विक्षु होतारं न्यसादयन्त ॥
Men have genitive rated with their arms Agni, who is decorated with rays of light, selected as a friend, theancient priest, the accomplisher of the sacrifice, and they have appointed him among people, the invoker of the gods.
