आ जनं॑ त्वे॒षसं॑दृशं॒ माही॑नाना॒मुप॑स्तुतम् । अग॑न्म॒ बिभ्र॑तो॒ नम॑: ॥ आ जनं त्वेषसंदृशं माहीनानामुपस्तुतम् । अगन्म बिभ्रतो नमः ॥
We have come to the person of splendid appearance, the honoured of the mighty, bringing him reverential homage.
english translation
अस॑मातिं नि॒तोश॑नं त्वे॒षं नि॑य॒यिनं॒ रथ॑म् । भ॒जेर॑थस्य॒ सत्प॑तिम् ॥ असमातिं नितोशनं त्वेषं निययिनं रथम् । भजेरथस्य सत्पतिम् ॥
To Asamāti, the destroyer (of foes), radiant, a quick-moving chariot, (for the bringing of benefits),(the descendant) of Bhajeratha, the protector of the good.

यो जना॑न्महि॒षाँ इ॑वातित॒स्थौ पवी॑रवान् । उ॒ताप॑वीरवान्यु॒धा ॥ यो जनान्महिषाँ इवातितस्थौ पवीरवान् । उतापवीरवान्युधा ॥
Who, whether armed or unarmed with a sword, overcomes adversaries in fight, as (a lion destroys)buffaloes.
english translation
यस्ये॑क्ष्वा॒कुरुप॑ व्र॒ते रे॒वान्म॑रा॒य्येध॑ते । दि॒वी॑व॒ पञ्च॑ कृ॒ष्टय॑: ॥ यस्येक्ष्वाकुरुप व्रते रेवान्मराय्येधते । दिवीव पञ्च कृष्टयः ॥
In the good government of whose (realm) the opunlent and victorious Ikṣvāku prospers (so that) thefive orders of men (are as happy) as if they were in heaven.

इन्द्र॑ क्ष॒त्रास॑मातिषु॒ रथ॑प्रोष्ठेषु धारय । दि॒वी॑व॒ सूर्यं॑ दृ॒शे ॥ इन्द्र क्षत्रासमातिषु रथप्रोष्ठेषु धारय । दिवीव सूर्यं दृशे ॥
Maintain, Indra, vigour in the Rathaproṣṭha Asamātis, as (you maintain) the sun in heaven for thesight (of all).
