कदु॑ द्यु॒म्नमि॑न्द्र॒ त्वाव॑तो॒ नॄन्कया॑ धि॒या क॑रस॒य कन्न॒ आग॑न् । मि॒त्रो न स॒त्य उ॑रुगाय भृ॒त्या अन्ने॑ समस्य॒ यदस॑न्मनी॒षाः ॥ कदु द्युम्नमिन्द्र त्वावतो नॄन्कया धिया करसे कन्न आगन् । मित्रो न सत्य उरुगाय भृत्या अन्ने समस्य यदसन्मनीषाः ॥
When, Indra, (having partaken of) our oblation, and by what sacred rite, will you render menresembling you? When will you bring them to us? You, who are widely renowned, are to us like a true friend,(attentive) for our support, when the minds of all were (anxious) for food.
