ती॒व्रस्या॒भिव॑यसो अ॒स्य पा॑हि सर्वर॒था वि हरी॑ इ॒ह मु॑ञ्च । इन्द्र॒ मा त्वा॒ यज॑मानासो अ॒न्ये नि री॑रम॒न्तुभ्य॑मि॒मे सु॒तास॑: ॥ तीव्रस्याभिवयसो अस्य पाहि सर्वरथा वि हरी इह मुञ्च । इन्द्र मा त्वा यजमानासो अन्ये नि रीरमन्तुभ्यमिमे सुतासः ॥
Protect this intense old age, all the chariots, Hari, and release me here. O Indra, do not let these other sons of the sacrifice be yours. O Lord, please protect me from all the chariots of the intense age. O Indra, do not let these other sons be offered to you.
english translation
तुभ्यं॑ सु॒तास्तुभ्य॑मु॒ सोत्वा॑स॒स्त्वां गिर॒: श्वात्र्या॒ आ ह्व॑यन्ति । इन्द्रे॒दम॒द्य सव॑नं जुषा॒णो विश्व॑स्य वि॒द्वाँ इ॒ह पा॑हि॒ सोम॑म् ॥ तुभ्यं सुतास्तुभ्यमु सोत्वासस्त्वां गिरः श्वात्र्या आ ह्वयन्ति । इन्द्रेदमद्य सवनं जुषाणो विश्वस्य विद्वाँ इह पाहि सोमम् ॥
For you are the libations that have been poured out, for you are those which are to be poured out; youdo our quickly uttered praises invoke; Indra, who are cognizant of all things, taking plural asure in this present sacrifice, drink the Soma here.
english translation
य उ॑श॒ता मन॑सा॒ सोम॑मस्मै सर्वहृ॒दा दे॒वका॑मः सु॒नोति॑ । न गा इन्द्र॒स्तस्य॒ परा॑ ददाति प्रश॒स्तमिच्चारु॑मस्मै कृणोति ॥ य उशता मनसा सोममस्मै सर्वहृदा देवकामः सुनोति । न गा इन्द्रस्तस्य परा ददाति प्रशस्तमिच्चारुमस्मै कृणोति ॥
He who devoted to the deity with a willing mind offers the Soma to him with all his heart, Indra, doesnot destroy his cattloe, but gives him beautiful excellent (wealth).
english translation
अनु॑स्पष्टो भवत्ये॒षो अ॑स्य॒ यो अ॑स्मै रे॒वान्न सु॒नोति॒ सोम॑म् । निर॑र॒त्नौ म॒घवा॒ तं द॑धाति ब्रह्म॒द्विषो॑ ह॒न्त्यना॑नुदिष्टः ॥ अनुस्पष्टो भवत्येषो अस्य यो अस्मै रेवान्न सुनोति सोमम् । निररत्नौ मघवा तं दधाति ब्रह्मद्विषो हन्त्यनानुदिष्टः ॥
He is mindful of him who, as a rich man, offers Soma to him; possessed of riches (Indra) holds him inhis hand, and unsolicited destroys (his enemies) who hate the Brāhmaṇa.
english translation
अ॒श्वा॒यन्तो॑ ग॒व्यन्तो॑ वा॒जय॑न्तो॒ हवा॑महे॒ त्वोप॑गन्त॒वा उ॑ । आ॒भूष॑न्तस्ते सुम॒तौ नवा॑यां व॒यमि॑न्द्र त्वा शु॒नं हु॑वेम ॥ अश्वायन्तो गव्यन्तो वाजयन्तो हवामहे त्वोपगन्तवा उ । आभूषन्तस्ते सुमतौ नवायां वयमिन्द्र त्वा शुनं हुवेम ॥
Wishing for horses, for cattle, for food, we invoke you, Indra, that you may come; abiding within your new favour we invoke you, Indra, the giver of happiness.
