न तमंहो॒ न दु॑रि॒तं देवा॑सो अष्ट॒ मर्त्य॑म् । स॒जोष॑सो॒ यम॑र्य॒मा मि॒त्रो नय॑न्ति॒ वरु॑णो॒ अति॒ द्विष॑: ॥ न तमंहो न दुरितं देवासो अष्ट मर्त्यम् । सजोषसो यमर्यमा मित्रो नयन्ति वरुणो अति द्विषः ॥
Neither sin nor sorrow, O gods, affect the man whom Aryaman, Mitra and Varuṇa, being alike plural asedby him, conduct beyond (the reach of) his enemies.

तद्धि व॒यं वृ॑णी॒महे॒ वरु॑ण॒ मित्रार्य॑मन् । येना॒ निरंह॑सो यू॒यं पा॒थ ने॒था च॒ मर्त्य॒मति॒ द्विष॑: ॥ तद्धि वयं वृणीमहे वरुण मित्रार्यमन् । येना निरंहसो यूयं पाथ नेथा च मर्त्यमति द्विषः ॥
We implore that (protection) of yours, Varuṇa, Mitra, and Aryaman, whereby you preserve a man fromsin, and lead him beyond (the reach of) his enemies.

ते नू॒नं नो॒ऽयमू॒तये॒ वरु॑णो मि॒त्रो अ॑र्य॒मा । नयि॑ष्ठा उ नो ने॒षणि॒ पर्षि॑ष्ठा उ नः प॒र्षण्यति॒ द्विष॑: ॥ ते नूनं नोऽयमूतये वरुणो मित्रो अर्यमा । नयिष्ठा उ नो नेषणि पर्षिष्ठा उ नः पर्षण्यति द्विषः ॥
May this Varuṇa and Mitra and Aryaman be our protection, may they lead us to the spot to which weshould be led, and make us cross over to the spot to which we should cross over beyond (the reach of) our enemies.

यू॒यं विश्वं॒ परि॑ पाथ॒ वरु॑णो मि॒त्रो अ॑र्य॒मा । यु॒ष्माकं॒ शर्म॑णि प्रि॒ये स्याम॑ सुप्रणीत॒योऽति॒ द्विष॑: ॥ यूयं विश्वं परि पाथ वरुणो मित्रो अर्यमा । युष्माकं शर्मणि प्रिये स्याम सुप्रणीतयोऽति द्विषः ॥
You, Varuṇa, Mitra, Aryaman, protect the universe; may we abide in your blessed felicity, O excellentleaders, beyond (the reach of) our enemies.

आ॒दि॒त्यासो॒ अति॒ स्रिधो॒ वरु॑णो मि॒त्रो अ॑र्य॒मा । उ॒ग्रं म॒रुद्भी॑ रु॒द्रं हु॑वे॒मेन्द्र॑म॒ग्निं स्व॒स्तयेऽति॒ द्विष॑: ॥ आदित्यासो अति स्रिधो वरुणो मित्रो अर्यमा । उग्रं मरुद्भी रुद्रं हुवेमेन्द्रमग्निं स्वस्तयेऽति द्विषः ॥
May the Ādityas, Varuṇa, Mitra, Aryaman, (lead us) beyond (the reach of) the malignant; let usinvoke the fierce Rudra with the Maruts, and Indra and Agni for our welfare, (that they may place us) beyond (thereach of) our enemies.
