दु॒र्मन्त्वत्रा॒मृत॑स्य॒ नाम॒ सल॑क्ष्मा॒ यद्विषु॑रूपा॒ भवा॑ति । य॒मस्य॒ यो म॒नव॑ते सु॒मन्त्वग्ने॒ तमृ॑ष्व पा॒ह्यप्र॑युच्छन् ॥ दुर्मन्त्वत्रामृतस्य नाम सलक्ष्मा यद्विषुरूपा भवाति । यमस्य यो मनवते सुमन्त्वग्ने तमृष्व पाह्यप्रयुच्छन् ॥
Hard to understand is the nature of the immortal, for although of one origin, she is of a different form;cherish him diligently, great Agni, who understands Yama's nature easy to be understood.

यस्मि॑न्दे॒वा वि॒दथे॑ मा॒दय॑न्ते वि॒वस्व॑त॒: सद॑ने धा॒रय॑न्ते । सूर्ये॒ ज्योति॒रद॑धुर्मा॒स्य१॒॑क्तून्परि॑ द्योत॒निं च॑रतो॒ अज॑स्रा ॥ यस्मिन्देवा विदथे मादयन्ते विवस्वतः सदने धारयन्ते । सूर्ये ज्योतिरदधुर्मास्यक्तून्परि द्योतनिं चरतो अजस्रा ॥
In him the gods find plural asure at the sacrifice; they seat themselves on the altar of the sacrificer. Theyplaced light in the sun; beams in the moon; and these untiring shed their light around.

यस्मि॑न्दे॒वा मन्म॑नि सं॒चर॑न्त्यपी॒च्ये॒३॒॑ न व॒यम॑स्य विद्म । मि॒त्रो नो॒ अत्रादि॑ति॒रना॑गान्त्सवि॒ता दे॒वो वरु॑णाय वोचत् ॥ यस्मिन्देवा मन्मनि संचरन्त्यपीच्ये न वयमस्य विद्म । मित्रो नो अत्रादितिरनागान्त्सविता देवो वरुणाय वोचत् ॥
When he, the all-illumining, is there, the gods assemble; but when he is concealed, we know not (hisabode); so at this sacrifice, let Mitra and Aditi and Savitā proclaim us to Varuṇa as free from sin.
english translation
श्रु॒धी नो॑ अग्ने॒ सद॑ने स॒धस्थे॑ यु॒क्ष्वा रथ॑म॒मृत॑स्य द्रवि॒त्नुम् । आ नो॑ वह॒ रोद॑सी दे॒वपु॑त्रे॒ माकि॑र्दे॒वाना॒मप॑ भूरि॒ह स्या॑: ॥ श्रुधी नो अग्ने सदने सधस्थे युक्ष्वा रथममृतस्य द्रवित्नुम् । आ नो वह रोदसी देवपुत्रे माकिर्देवानामप भूरिह स्याः ॥
Hear us, O fire, in the house of Sadhastha, fighting the chariot of nectar. O son of the demigods, please carry us to the heavenly planets.
