त्वमा॑विथ॒ नर्यं॑ तु॒र्वशं॒ यदुं॒ त्वं तु॒र्वीतिं॑ व॒य्यं॑ शतक्रतो । त्वं रथ॒मेत॑शं॒ कृत्व्ये॒ धने॒ त्वं पुरो॑ नव॒तिं द॑म्भयो॒ नव॑ ॥ त्वमाविथ नर्यं तुर्वशं यदुं त्वं तुर्वीतिं वय्यं शतक्रतो । त्वं रथमेतशं कृत्व्ये धने त्वं पुरो नवतिं दम्भयो नव ॥

You have protected Narya, Turvaśa, Yadu and Turvīti, of the face of Vayya; you have protected their chariots and horses in the unavoidable engagement; you have demolished ninety-nine cities (of Śambara).

english translation

स घा॒ राजा॒ सत्प॑तिः शूशुव॒ज्जनो॑ रा॒तह॑व्य॒: प्रति॒ यः शास॒मिन्व॑ति । उ॒क्था वा॒ यो अ॑भिगृ॒णाति॒ राध॑सा॒ दानु॑रस्मा॒ उप॑रा पिन्वते दि॒वः ॥ स घा राजा सत्पतिः शूशुवज्जनो रातहव्यः प्रति यः शासमिन्वति । उक्था वा यो अभिगृणाति राधसा दानुरस्मा उपरा पिन्वते दिवः ॥

That eminent person n, the cherisher of the pious, (he instrumental tutor of the ceremony), promotes his own prosperity, who, while offering oblations to Indra, pronounces his praise; or who, along with the offerings he presents, recites hymns (in honour of him); for him the bounteous Indra causes the clouds to rain from heaven.

english translation

अस॑मं क्ष॒त्रमस॑मा मनी॒षा प्र सो॑म॒पा अप॑सा सन्तु॒ नेमे॑ । ये त॑ इन्द्र द॒दुषो॑ व॒र्धय॑न्ति॒ महि॑ क्ष॒त्रं स्थवि॑रं॒ वृष्ण्यं॑ च ॥ असमं क्षत्रमसमा मनीषा प्र सोमपा अपसा सन्तु नेमे । ये त इन्द्र ददुषो वर्धयन्ति महि क्षत्रं स्थविरं वृष्ण्यं च ॥

Unequalled is his might; unequalled is his wisdom; may these drinkers of the Soma become equal to him the pious act, for they, Indra, who present to you oblations, augment your vast strength and your manly vigour.

english translation

तुभ्येदे॒ते ब॑हु॒ला अद्रि॑दुग्धाश्चमू॒षद॑श्चम॒सा इ॑न्द्र॒पाना॑: । व्य॑श्नुहि त॒र्पया॒ काम॑मेषा॒मथा॒ मनो॑ वसु॒देया॑य कृष्व ॥ तुभ्येदेते बहुला अद्रिदुग्धाश्चमूषदश्चमसा इन्द्रपानाः । व्यश्नुहि तर्पया काममेषामथा मनो वसुदेयाय कृष्व ॥

These copious Soma juices, expressed with stones and contained in ladles, are prepared for you; they are the beverage of Indra; quaff them; satiate your appetite with them; and then fix your mind on the wealth that is to be given (to us).

english translation

अ॒पाम॑तिष्ठद्ध॒रुण॑ह्वरं॒ तमो॒ऽन्तर्वृ॒त्रस्य॑ ज॒ठरे॑षु॒ पर्व॑तः । अ॒भीमिन्द्रो॑ न॒द्यो॑ व॒व्रिणा॑ हि॒ता विश्वा॑ अनु॒ष्ठाः प्र॑व॒णेषु॑ जिघ्नते ॥ अपामतिष्ठद्धरुणह्वरं तमोऽन्तर्वृत्रस्य जठरेषु पर्वतः । अभीमिन्द्रो नद्यो वव्रिणा हिता विश्वा अनुष्ठाः प्रवणेषु जिघ्नते ॥

The darkness obstructed the current of the waters; the cloud was within the belly of Vṛtra; but Indra precipitated all the waters which the obstructor had concealed, in succession, down to the hollows (of the earth).
