उदु॒ त्यं जा॒तवे॑दसं दे॒वं व॑हन्ति के॒तव॑: । दृ॒शे विश्वा॑य॒ सूर्य॑म् ॥ उदु त्यं जातवेदसं देवं वहन्ति केतवः । दृशे विश्वाय सूर्यम् ॥
His coursers bear on high the divine all-knowing Sun, that he may be seen by all (the worlds).
english translation
अप॒ त्ये ता॒यवो॑ यथा॒ नक्ष॑त्रा यन्त्य॒क्तुभि॑: । सूरा॑य वि॒श्वच॑क्षसे ॥ अप त्ये तायवो यथा नक्षत्रा यन्त्यक्तुभिः । सूराय विश्वचक्षसे ॥
(At the approach) of the all-illuminating Sun, the constellations depart with the night, like thieves.
english translation
अदृ॑श्रमस्य के॒तवो॒ वि र॒श्मयो॒ जनाँ॒ अनु॑ । भ्राज॑न्तो अ॒ग्नयो॑ यथा ॥ अदृश्रमस्य केतवो वि रश्मयो जनाँ अनु । भ्राजन्तो अग्नयो यथा ॥
His illuminating rays behold men in succession, like blazing fires.
english translation
त॒रणि॑र्वि॒श्वद॑र्शतो ज्योति॒ष्कृद॑सि सूर्य । विश्व॒मा भा॑सि रोच॒नम् ॥ तरणिर्विश्वदर्शतो ज्योतिष्कृदसि सूर्य । विश्वमा भासि रोचनम् ॥
You, Sūrya, outstrip all in speed; you are visible to all; you are the source of light; you shine throughout the entire firmament.
english translation
प्र॒त्यङ्दे॒वानां॒ विश॑: प्र॒त्यङ्ङुदे॑षि॒ मानु॑षान् । प्र॒त्यङ्विश्वं॒ स्व॑र्दृ॒शे ॥ प्रत्यङ्देवानां विशः प्रत्यङ्ङुदेषि मानुषान् । प्रत्यङ्विश्वं स्वर्दृशे ॥
You rise in the presence of the Maruts, you rise in the presence of mankind, and so as to be seen in the presence of the whole (region) of heaven.
