शरैः पूर्णायतोत्सृष्टैर्वज्रवक्त्रैर्मनोजवैः । चिच्छेद विष्णुर्निशितैः शतशो ऽथ सहस्रशः ॥ 7-7-8 ॥
With sharp arrows discharged from the bow drawn to its full length, thunderbolt-mouthed and swift as thought, Vishnu cut down the foe by hundreds and by thousands.
