Ramayana
यदा तु युद्धमाकाङ्क्षन् कश्चिदेनं समाह्वयेत् । तदा शूलं गहीत्वा तं भस्म रक्षः करोति हि ॥ 7-63-27 ॥
"But whenever anyone, desiring battle, challenges him, then the rakshasa, taking up the spear, reduces that one to ashes."
