निःस्वाध्यायवषट्कारं निष्क्रियं धर्मवर्जितम् । वायुप्रकोपात्ऺत्रैलोक्यं निरयस्थमिवाभवत् ॥ 7-35-52 ॥
Through the Wind's wrath the three worlds, bereft of Vedic recitation and the cry of vashat, devoid of all activity and forsaken by dharma, became like a place of perdition.
