ते तु शोणितदिग्धाङ्गाः सर्वशस्त्रसमाहताः । अमात्या राक्षसेन्द्रस्य चक्रुरायोधनं महत् ॥ 7-21-31 ॥
And those ministers of the lord of the Rakshasas, their limbs smeared with blood and struck by every kind of weapon, waged a mighty battle.
