मानुषान्न गणे देव स्वल्पास्ते मम सम्मताः । दीर्घमायुश्च मे प्राप्तं ब्रह्मणस्त्रिपुरान्तक ॥ 7-16-43 ॥
As for men, O god, I did not reckon them; they are held of small account by me. And long life has been granted me by Brahma, O destroyer of Tripura.
