चित्रदक्षिणवृतौ तु सप्तरूपे प्रवर्तिते । सोपोहने सनिर्गीते देवस्तुत्यभिनन्दिते ॥ ३१॥

In the circle of the picture’s right side, when the seven forms are set into motion, with the auspicious beginning and the song being sung, it is dedicated to the praise of the deity and celebrated.

नारदाद्यैस्तु गन्धर्वैः सभायां देवदानवाः । निर्गीतं श्राविताः सम्यग्लयतालसमन्वितम् ॥ ३२॥

sanskrit

The song, accompanied by rhythmic beats and perfectly in tune, is sung in the assembly by the Gandharvas, led by Narada, in the presence of gods and demons.

english translation

nAradAdyaistu gandharvaiH sabhAyAM devadAnavAH | nirgItaM zrAvitAH samyaglayatAlasamanvitam || 32||

तच्छ्रुत्वा तु सुखं गानं देवस्तुत्यभिनन्दितम् अभवन्क्षुभिताः सर्वे मात्सर्याद्दैत्यराक्षसाः ॥ ३३॥

sanskrit

Upon hearing the joyous song, which was a praise of the gods, all the demons and rakshasas became disturbed, filled with envy.

tacchrutvA tu sukhaM gAnaM devastutyabhinanditam abhavankSubhitAH sarve mAtsaryAddaityarAkSasAH || 33||

सम्प्रधार्य च तेऽन्योन्यमित्यवोचन्नवस्थिताः । निर्गीतं तु सवादित्रमिदं गृह्णीमहे वयम् ॥३४॥

After reflecting upon it, they spoke to one another, saying, "We shall take hold of this delightful song, which has been sung."

sampradhArya ca te'nyonyamityavocannavasthitAH | nirgItaM tu savAditramidaM gRhNImahe vayam ||34||

सप्तरूपेण सन्तुष्टा देवाः कर्मानुकीर्तनात् । वयं गृह्णीम निर्गीतं तुष्यामोऽत्रैव सर्वदा ॥ ३५॥

The gods, pleased with the seven forms of expression, declared, "We shall accept this song and always remain content here through the recital of actions."
