प्रस्तवा। ततः कुर्यात्काव्यप्रख्यापनाश्रयाम् । उद्धात्यकादि कर्तव्यं काव्योपक्षेपणाश्र्यम् ॥१६६॥

Then one should perform the one based on the glorification of poetry. The one based on the introduction of poetry should be performed, such as the Uddhātīkā and so on.

prastavA| tataH kuryAtkAvyaprakhyApanAzrayAm | uddhAtyakAdi kartavyaM kAvyopakSepaNAzryam ||166||

दिव्ये दिव्याश्रयो भूत्वा मानुषे मानुषाश्रयः । दिव्यमानुषसंयोगे दिव्यो वा मानुषोऽपि वा ॥ १६७॥

sanskrit

Being divine, he is the support of the divine; being human, he is the support of the human; in the union of the divine and the human, he is either divine or human.

english translation

divye divyAzrayo bhUtvA mAnuSe mAnuSAzrayaH | divyamAnuSasaMyoge divyo vA mAnuSo'pi vA || 167||

मुखबीजानुसदॄशं नानामार्गसमाश्रयम् । आविधैरुपक्षेपैः काव्योपक्षेपणं भवेत् ॥१६८॥
