उदात्तैर्गानैर्गन्धर्वैः परिगीते प्रमाणतः । देवदुन्दुभयश्चैव निनदैयुर्भृशं यतः ॥ १५१॥

सिद्धाः कुसुममालाभिर्विकिरेयुः समन्ततः । अङ्गहारैश्च देव्यस्ता उपनृत्येयुरग्रतः ॥ १५२॥
The perfected beings scattered flowers all around. The goddesses, adorned with ornaments, danced in front.

यस्ताण्डवविधिः प्रोक्तो नृते पिण्डीसमन्वितः । रेचकैरङ्गहारैश्च न्यासोपन्याससंयुतः ॥ १५३॥
That Tandava rite, which is described along with the dance (Nṛtta) and the body posture (Piṇḍī), along with the breath control (Rechakas), the arm ornaments (Aṅghāras), and the ritual placements and instructions (Nyāsa and Upanyāsa),

नान्दीपदानां मध्ये तु एकैकस्मिन्पृथक्पृथक् । प्रयोक्तव्यो बुधैः सम्यक्चित्रभावमभीप्सुभिः ॥ १५४॥
In the midst of the Nandīpadas, each should be employed separately by the wise, who seek the artistic expression of a picture.

एवं कृत्वा यथान्यायं शुद्धं चित्रं प्रयत्नतः । ततःपरं प्रयुञ्जीत नाटकं लक्षणान्वितम् ॥ १५५॥
Having done this correctly and with effort, a pure picture should be created. Then, the play, endowed with the proper characteristics, should be employed.
