The left hand, made with the left index finger, should be scattered. The right hand should be placed on the chest, and the left hand should be turned in the Trika posture.
नूपुराक्षिप्तके चैव ह्यर्धस्वस्तिकमेव च । नितम्बं करिहस्तं च ह्युरोमण्डलकं तथा ॥ २४२॥
The anklet should be extended, and the half-Svastika should be done. The hips should be placed in the elephant’s trunk pose, and the chest should be in the circular movement.
करिहस्तं कटिच्छिन्नं कर्तव्यमपसर्पिते । कृत्वा नूपुरपादं च द्रुतमाक्षिप्य च क्रमम् ॥ २४५॥
The elephant-hand, cut at the waist, should be performed in the retreating movement. Having made the anklet-foot, one should swiftly throw the movement in succession.
