आक्षिप्तस्वस्तिकं कृत्वा त्रिकं तु परिवर्तयेत् । उरोमण्डलकौ हस्तौ नितम्बं करिहस्तकम् ॥ २२६॥
Having made the raised auspicious mark (Svastika), one should turn the Trika. Then, the chest, the circle (Uromandala), the hands, the hips, and the elephant's trunk (Karihasta) should be performed.
english translation
AkSiptasvastikaM kRtvA trikaM tu parivartayet । uromaNDalakau hastau nitambaM karihastakam ॥ 226॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकटिच्छिन्नं तथा चैव पार्श्वच्छेदे विधीयते । सूचीवामपदं दध्याद्विद्युद्भ्रान्तं च दक्षिणम् ॥ २२७॥
The waist should be cut off, and similarly, the cutting of the sides is prescribed. The left foot should be bent like a needle, and the right foot should be bent like lightning.

kaTicchinnaM tathA caiva pArzvacchede vidhIyate । sUcIvAmapadaM dadhyAdvidyudbhrAntaM ca dakSiNam ॥ 227॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदक्षिणेन पुनः सूची विद्युद्भ्रान्तं च वामतः । परिच्छिन्नं तथा चैव ह्यतिक्रान्तं च वामकम् ॥ २२८॥
The right foot should be bent like a needle, and the left foot should be bent like lightning. Similarly, the left foot should be cut off and the left foot should be overstepped.

dakSiNena punaH sUcI vidyudbhrAntaM ca vAmataH । paricchinnaM tathA caiva hyatikrAntaM ca vAmakam ॥ 228॥

The creeper-like one, cut off at the waist, is remembered as the one who wanders like lightning. Having made the anklet-foot, the left and right ones are hanging down.

latAkhyaM sakaTicchinnaM vidyudbhrAntazca sa smRtaH । kRtvA nUpurapAdaM tu savyavAmau pralambitau ॥ 229॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकरौ पार्श्वे ततस्ताभ्यां विक्षिप्तं सम्प्रयोजयेत् । ताभ्यां सूची तथा चैव त्रिकं तु परिवर्तयेत् ॥ २३०॥
The hands should be placed on the sides, and the scattered movement should be applied from them. Then, the needle should be turned in a circle with the three fingers.
