करिहस्तं कटिच्छिन्नं कुर्याद्वैशाखरेचिते । आद्यं तु जनितं कृत्वा पादमेकं प्रसारयेत् ॥२२१॥
In the month of Vaiśākha, one should perform the waist cut at the elephant’s trunk. Having made the initial position (Janita), one should extend one foot.
english translation
karihastaM kaTicchinnaM kuryAdvaizAkharecite । AdyaM tu janitaM kRtvA pAdamekaM prasArayet ॥221॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतथैवालातकं कुर्यात् त्रिकं तु परिवर्तयेत् । अञ्चितं वामहस्तं च गण्डदेशे निकुट्टयेत् ॥ २२२॥
Similarly, one should perform the Alātaka and rotate the Trika. The raised left hand should be rubbed on the cheek.

The waist should be bent, and the feet turned back. After assuming the Svastika posture, the hands should again be bent.

One should perform the Alātaka with the knees raised and bent, the half-needle, the scattered, and the upward-thrown and downward-thrown movements.

The hands should be positioned like the trunk of an elephant, with the waist cut off. The hands should be placed on the hips, and the knees should be raised upwards.
